There are two primary types of prepainted aluminum coil: PVDF and PE, which are extensively used in aluminum plate, aluminum veneer, aluminum honeycomb panels, aluminum ceiling, shingles, scrap, pop-top, and electronics applications.
PVDF Coatings: Known for exceptional durability and weather resistance, PVDF coatings provide a smooth, glossy finish ideal for architectural applications. Available in a wide color range, PVDF coated aluminum coils are commonly used for exterior cladding, roofing, and signage.
PE Coatings: Offering excellent UV resistance and color retention, PE coatings are typically used for interior applications where extreme weather resistance isn't required. Available in various colors, PE coated aluminum coils are suitable for indoor decorations, ceiling panels, and similar applications.
