Introduction                                                

The 0.8–2.0 mm 5052 aluminum sheet with brushed or anodized finish is currently the preferred marine-grade material worldwide for premium electronic enclosures, server chassis, telecom RRU/AAU housings, EV battery management system (BMS) enclosures, inverter casings and industrial control box panels.

Compared to 3003/3105 (lower strength) or 6061 (heat-treatable but prone to corrosion in welded areas), 5052 delivers the optimal combination for demanding electronic & outdoor enclosure applications:
