The 1.5–3.0 mm 5052 aluminum sheet with anodized or PE coated finish is currently the preferred marine-grade material for high-performance architectural cladding, rainscreen systems, solid metal veneer, spandrel panels and impact-resistant facade applications.

Compared to 3003/3105 (softer & lower strength) or 5083 (stronger but 20–40% more expensive), 5052 offers the optimal sweet spot for demanding exterior projects:
