The 2.0–4.0 mm 5005 PVDF coated aluminum sheet is currently the preferred high-strength specification for solid metal curtain wall panels, spandrel areas, column covers, large-area veneer and impact-resistant facade systems in modern high-rise & landmark architecture.

Compared to 3003/3105 (softer) or 5083 (stronger but more expensive), 5005 delivers the optimal balance for most demanding curtain wall projects:
