Aluminum Alloy 5083 Aluminum Coil (1.2mm, 1250mm Width, Anti-Corrosion Coating) for Car Underbody Shield

Product Description:

The Aluminum Alloy 5083 aluminum coil, with a thickness of 1.2mm and width of 1250mm, is a non-heat-treatable aluminum-magnesium alloy (aluminum 94.4–96.4%, magnesium 4.0–4.9%, manganese 0.4–1.0%, trace chromium, iron, silicon) in H32 or H116 temper, featuring an anti-corrosion coating (typically epoxy or polyurethane-based) for car underbody shields. This alloy provides high strength (tensile strength ~275–350 MPa), exceptional corrosion resistance, and excellent weldability (elongation ~12–15%). The anti-corrosion coating adds a protective layer (50–100 μm thick) that shields against road salt, moisture, and debris, preventing underbody rust. Its lightweight nature (density ~2.66 g/cm³) reduces vehicle weight, improving fuel efficiency, while its recyclability (recovery rate >95%) supports sustainable automotive production. Ideal for underbody protection on sedans, SUVs, and trucks, the 1250mm width enables efficient fabrication of shields.
